about the pigeon post club

the pigeon post club is a monthly snail mail club celebrating one of the most misunderstood, overlooked and absolutely brilliant animals on the planet: the pigeon.

it started as a way to combine two things we love — art and pigeons — and has grown into a little corner of the internet (and hopefully your mailbox) dedicated to making pigeons impossible to ignore.

every month, members receive a mini art print, a letter, stickers and other pigeon-themed surprises, featuring new artwork, stories, ridiculous facts and whatever else we feel like putting in an envelope that month. it’s made to be collected, displayed, stuck on things and shared with fellow pigeon weirdos.

alongside the mail club, we run a pigeon sanctuary and rehabilitation work on the west coast of portugal, currently home to 150+ pigeons and several chickens. we rescue and rehabilitate birds, care for long-term residents, and work on creating better spaces for them to live — including two new aviaries currently in the works.

but the pigeon post club isn’t just about rescue. it’s also about pigeon advocacy: changing the way people see these birds, challenging the endless “rats with wings” nonsense, and reminding people that pigeons are intelligent, social, beautiful animals who deserve considerably more respect than they usually get.

all profits from the club go towards pigeon rescue, care, rehabilitation and advocacy.
